Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pulmonary Physician to provide comprehensive care for patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating a range of pulmonary diseases, along with advanced skills in performing diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopy and pulmonary function testing. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with respiratory disorders.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pulmonary diseases, including COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and pulmonary function testing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and pulmonary rehabilitation.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health, treatment options, and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
- Participate in clinical research and stay updated with the latest advancements in pulmonary medicine.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and treatment plans in electronic health records.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating pulmonary conditions.
- Proficient in performing pulmonary diagnostic procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of pulmonary medicine.
