  • Utilize CAD software and 3D printing technology for the design and fabrication of custom devices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and physical therapists, to assess patient needs.
  • Conduct fittings and adjustments to ensure proper alignment and comfort for patients.
  • Adhere to safety and health regulations while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Stay updated on advancements in prosthetics technology and industry best practices.
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics technology preferred.
  • Certification from a recognized prosthetics and orthotics program.
  • Proven experience as a Prosthetics Technician or in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in prosthetic devices.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software for device design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
