Job Brief
The Propeller Layout Worker plays a critical role in the assembly and installation of components for aircraft, space vehicles, and missiles. This position requires hands-on expertise in fitting, fastening, and installing essential parts such as wings, fuselages, stabilizers, and landing gear. Responsibilities
- Assemble, fit, fasten, and install airplane, space vehicle, or missile components, including wings, fuselages, and landing gear.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify the integrity and accuracy of assembled parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of aerospace assembly techniques.
- Adhere to industry safety standards and protocols throughout the assembly process.
- Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in aerospace manufacturing is a plus.
- Previous experience in aerospace assembly or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
