Job Brief
The Powerhouse Mechanic Helper plays a crucial role in supporting installation, maintenance, and repair activities within industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of vehicles and industrial machinery.
- Provide support to mechanics by furnishing tools, materials, and supplies as needed.
- Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Hold materials and tools for skilled workers during repair and maintenance tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations at all times.
- Help in diagnosing mechanical issues and provide input on repairs.
- Participate in inventory management of tools and replacement parts.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding task progress and needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics is a plus.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Prior experience as a mechanic helper or similar role preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required.
- Valid driver’s license may be required based on job location.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
