Responsibilities

- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to verify plumbing system compliance.
- Prepare thorough inspection reports documenting findings, recommendations, and any necessary corrective actions.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and property owners to resolve issues related to plumbing systems.
- Stay updated on changes to plumbing codes, industry standards, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Provide guidance and training to junior inspectors and staff on plumbing inspection techniques and regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in plumbing inspection preferred.
- Proven experience as a plumbing inspector or in a related field, with a strong understanding of plumbing systems.
- In-depth knowledge of local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and interpret technical documents.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and stakeholder interactions.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software for documentation and reporting.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various inspection sites.
