Job Brief
As a Pierogi Maker, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and cooking of traditional Polish dumplings, focusing on high-quality food production and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Operate cooking equipment including steam cooking vats, deep fry cookers, and pressure cookers to prepare pierogi and other related food products.
- Mix, knead, and roll dough to create a variety of pierogi skins, ensuring proper thickness and texture.
- Prepare and assemble various fillings, maintaining high standards of taste and presentation.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal food safety and quality standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to streamline production processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure consistency and quality.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of ingredients as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pierogi Maker or in a similar food production role.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
