Job Brief
As a Passenger Agent, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the travel experience by efficiently managing passenger reservations and providing essential travel information. Responsibilities
- Make and confirm reservations for transportation and lodging, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Sell transportation tickets and provide detailed travel itineraries to passengers.
- Check baggage and assist passengers in navigating to designated concourses, piers, or tracks.
- Deliver tickets and provide relevant travel or transportation information to individuals and groups.
- Coordinate with travel partners to inform travelers about package tours and special offers.
- Assist passengers with special requests and resolve any travel-related issues promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of transportation schedules, policies, and local attractions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or travel management is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or transportation industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse passengers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing reservations and ticketing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and software is advantageous.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
