Job Brief
As a Paint Line Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to various painting and coating machines. Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust painting and coating machines for optimal performance.
- Operate spraying and rolling equipment to apply various coatings, including lacquer, enamel, and varnish.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Inspect finished products for surface quality, consistency, and color accuracy.
- Maintain and troubleshoot painting equipment to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Document production data and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Paint Line Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials, including metal and wood finishes.
- Understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards in manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and production schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform routine equipment maintenance.
