Responsibilities
- Assemble and repair oil field equipment using hand and power tools, ensuring functionality and safety.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of oil rigs and related machinery.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent malfunctions.
- Support drilling operations by transporting tools, materials, and equipment to and from work sites.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Flexibly adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as needed on oil field operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience as a roustabout or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging outdoor environments.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in oil field operations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
