Job Brief

As an Obstetrician/Gynecologist, you will provide comprehensive medical care related to pregnancy, childbirth, and women’s reproductive health. You will diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases affecting the female reproductive system, while also offering general healthcare services to women. This role requires a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, along with excellent patient care skills, and the ability to perform both medical and gynecological surgical functions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess reproductive health and pregnancy status.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of obstetric and gynecological disorders.
  • Provide prenatal, postnatal, and delivery care to expecting mothers.
  • Perform gynecological surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures when appropriate.
  • Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient treatments.
  • Stay updated on advancements in obstetrics and gynecology to provide the best care possible.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state or region.
  • Strong clinical skills in obstetrics, gynecology, and surgical techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
