  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and spark plug installations.
  • Overhaul engines and replace components such as pistons, rings, and gaskets as needed.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of all service and repair work performed on vehicles.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing education and training.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive technology preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Motor Tune Up Specialist or in a similar automotive repair role.
  • Strong knowledge of engine systems and components, including electrical systems and fuel injection.
  • Certification from a recognized automotive service organization (e.g., ASE certification) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, such as OBD-II scanners and multimeters.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
