Responsibilities

- Synchronize soundtracks and audio effects with edited video content.
- Implement visual effects, transitions, and graphics to enhance storytelling.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of editing software and industry trends.
- Ensure all edited content complies with legal and ethical standards in journalism.
- Review and revise edits based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Videotape Editor, preferably in a news or broadcast environment.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
- Strong understanding of video production processes and post-production workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset for storytelling.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of sound editing and audio synchronization techniques.
- A degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
