Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of newborns to diagnose medical conditions and formulate treatment plans.
- Administer appropriate medical therapies, interventions, and procedures to manage neonatal health issues.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of neonatal patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with pediatric specialists and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Provide education and support to families regarding their infant’s health and medical needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in neonatal care.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency program in Pediatrics with a fellowship in Neonatology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Neonatology.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in managing critically ill neonates.
- Proficiency in advanced neonatal life support (NALS) and other relevant certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with families and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in high-stress environments and make critical decisions rapidly.
