Job Brief

The Naval Tactical Data System Combat Information Center Officer is responsible for managing the operation of critical communications, detection, and weapons systems that are vital for controlling air, ground, and naval operations. This role requires a strong background in military operations, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to formulate and implement emergency plans. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating emergency response teams, evaluating command center information, and providing technical advice on operational readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operation of communications, detection, and weapons systems for effective naval, air, and ground operations.
  • Establish and maintain critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces.
  • Formulate and implement emergency response plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
  • Coordinate emergency response teams and partner agencies to ensure swift action during crises.
  • Evaluate information from command centers to facilitate high-level military and government reporting.
  • Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to enhance situational awareness.
  • Provide technical information and advice regarding capabilities and operational readiness of systems.
  • Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure mission success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Military Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • Proven experience in naval operations or military command roles.
  • Strong knowledge of communications and detection systems, as well as weapons systems operation.
  • Certification in Tactical Data Systems or equivalent military training is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments.
  • Familiarity with emergency management protocols and crisis response strategies.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant military software and operational tools.
