Job Brief

As a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS)/High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) Crewmember, you will play a crucial role in targeting, firing, and maintaining advanced artillery systems to effectively neutralize enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels. Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain MLRS and HIMARS systems for effective targeting and firing operations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of ammunition, missiles, and related equipment.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on artillery systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Establish and maintain reliable radio and wire communications for effective coordination.
  • Utilize computer systems for weapons targeting, firing solutions, and launch operations.
  • Assist in the storage and management of munitions and related supplies in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute strategic field artillery missions efficiently.
  • Document maintenance activities and operations to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; military training in artillery or related fields preferred.
  • Proven experience operating and maintaining artillery systems, specifically MLRS and HIMARS.
  • Strong understanding of artillery targeting, firing procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with computer-based targeting and firing control systems.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in challenging environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with crew members.
  • Valid military credentials and certifications relevant to artillery operations.
  • Physical fitness and ability to meet the demands of field operations.
