Job Brief
The Multi Sensor Operator is responsible for executing in-flight operations vital to the success of combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment, including satellite linkages and electronic countermeasures.
- Conduct thorough preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain and operate aircraft weapons and defensive systems effectively during missions.
- Utilize in-flight refueling systems to support extended mission capabilities.
- Execute aircraft safety and emergency procedures to safeguard crew and mission integrity.
- Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and emergency equipment.
- Conduct cargo and personnel drops in adherence to mission requirements and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the flight crew to ensure seamless mission execution and communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multi-sensor operations or related aviation roles.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including communications, detection, and weapons systems.
- Ability to perform complex calculations for weight and balance management.
- Certification in relevant aviation operations or military training is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
- Proficient in the use of aviation safety and emergency procedures.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with flight crews and mission teams.
