Job Brief
We are seeking an experienced Motor Coach Tour Operator to manage and execute safe and efficient transportation services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional driving skills, customer service expertise, and the ability to operate motor coaches for regular routes, charters, and private events. Proficiency in passenger assistance and fare collection is essential to ensure a seamless travel experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate motor coaches safely and efficiently on scheduled routes and charter services.
- Assist passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and ensuring comfort throughout the journey.
- Collect fares and tickets, maintaining accurate records of transactions.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all transportation safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or safety issues immediately to management.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
- Proven experience as a motor coach driver or in a similar transportation role.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations governing the transportation industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective passenger interactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
