Job Brief
The Monorail Crane Operator is responsible for operating mechanical boom and cable or tower and cable equipment to efficiently lift and move materials, machines, or products in various directions. Responsibilities
- Operate monorail cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads with precision.
- Inspect and maintain crane equipment to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and other team members to coordinate lifts and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Monitor load weights and balance to prevent accidents and equipment failure.
- Document daily operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents as required by regulatory standards.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to create a safe working environment.
- Perform routine checks and troubleshooting on crane systems to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator or in a similar role, preferably with monorail crane systems.
- Valid crane operator certification or license as per local regulations.
- Strong understanding of crane operation techniques and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
