As a Modular Home Crew Member, you will play a crucial role in the successful installation and relocation of mobile homes and prefabricated buildings. Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly and installation of modular homes and prefabricated structures at various sites.
- Transport mobile homes safely to designated locations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Operate heavy machinery and tools required for the moving and installation process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of homes and equipment to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Prepare job sites by setting up equipment and materials needed for installation tasks.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks and hazards on the job site.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during installation or relocation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in construction is a plus.
- Proven experience in modular home installation, mobile home relocation, or related fields.
- Familiarity with construction tools and heavy machinery operation.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and operate equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
