Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Menswear Salesperson to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertise in menswear apparel, driving sales through product knowledge, and building lasting customer relationships. Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored menswear recommendations.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of menswear products, including fabrics, styles, and current fashion trends.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective merchandising and upselling techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring the menswear section is visually appealing.
- Handle transactions efficiently and accurately, processing payments and managing cash registers.
- Develop strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to identify potential sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a sales associate or similar role in the retail industry, preferably in menswear.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of menswear fashion trends and styles, with a passion for the industry.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail sales techniques.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in fashion or retail management are a plus.
