Job Brief

Responsibilities

- Design and implement studies to assess the impact of health interventions and policies.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data related to health outcomes and risk factors.
- Develop and recommend strategies for disease prevention, control, and health promotion.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, governmental agencies, and community organizations to improve public health initiatives.
- Prepare and present findings in reports, publications, and public forums.
- Stay updated on emerging health threats, trends, and epidemiological methods.
- Provide expertise and consultation on epidemiological issues to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate in Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field.
- Proven experience in epidemiological research and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and software (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing epidemiological studies.
- Proficient in using geographic information systems (GIS) and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with public health policies and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
