Job Brief

We are seeking a detail-oriented Market Research Interviewer to conduct interviews with individuals via telephone, mail, in-person, or other means to gather essential data for market research purposes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen analytical mindset, and the ability to effectively record responses and assist participants in completing surveys and questionnaires. Previous experience in market research or data collection is preferred, along with proficiency in using various interview techniques to obtain accurate and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews with respondents through multiple channels, including telephone, mail, and in-person to gather market data.
  • Ask targeted questions and accurately record responses to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Assist participants in completing forms, applications, or questionnaires to maximize response rates.
  • Sort, classify, and file completed forms and questionnaires for efficient data management.
  • Utilize effective interviewing techniques to engage respondents and encourage honest and thorough answers.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical standards in handling respondent information.
  • Collaborate with research teams to develop and refine survey instruments and methodologies.
  • Provide feedback on the interview process and suggest improvements based on participant interactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a market research interviewer or in data collection is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in using survey software and data entry tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data recording.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple interviews simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies and data analysis techniques is a plus.
