Job Brief
The Marine Steam Fitter Helper will support skilled plumbers, pipefitters, steamfitters, and pipelayers by performing essential duties that require less technical expertise. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and repair of piping systems and fixtures under the guidance of skilled tradespeople.
- Supply, hold, and manage tools and materials required for plumbing and piping tasks.
- Clean and maintain work areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols while assisting with various plumbing tasks.
- Support the team by performing general labor duties, including lifting and transporting materials.
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills relevant to the marine piping industry.
- Help troubleshoot issues and report any concerns to the lead technician.
Requirements
