Job Brief

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine designs and incorporate feedback into drafting work.
- Ensure all drawings are up-to-date and reflect any changes made during the design process.
- Conduct quality control checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain project documentation, including drawing revisions, specifications, and project schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in marine drafting and design.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Marine Drafter or in a similar drafting role within the marine industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino) and other design tools.
- Understanding of marine engineering principles and familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree or certification in Drafting, Marine Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
