Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine designs and incorporate feedback into drafting work.
  • Ensure all drawings are up-to-date and reflect any changes made during the design process.
  • Conduct quality control checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain project documentation, including drawing revisions, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in marine drafting and design.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Marine Drafter or in a similar drafting role within the marine industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino) and other design tools.
  • Understanding of marine engineering principles and familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
