Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Loom Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, installing, adjusting, and maintaining industrial production machinery and processing equipment. This role requires extensive knowledge of machinery systems and a strong ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. The Loom Technician should have a solid background in industrial mechanics and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain various types of industrial production and processing machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Install, adjust, and calibrate machinery and equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production systems to identify and address potential issues.
- Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and provide effective solutions to restore equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to install or dismantle machinery as needed for production line adjustments or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Loom Technician or in a similar role in industrial maintenance.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Technical certification in industrial mechanics, machinery maintenance, or relevant field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
