Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and opening locks, creating keys, changing locks and safe combinations, as well as installing and repairing safes. The Locksmith should possess strong technical skills and a solid understanding of lock mechanisms and security systems. Experience in residential, commercial, and automotive locksmithing is essential, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Repair and open various types of locks and locking mechanisms.
- Cut, duplicate, and create keys for residential and commercial properties.
- Change locks and safe combinations as per client requests.
- Install, repair, and maintain safes, ensuring optimal security.
- Provide emergency locksmith services, responding swiftly to client needs.
- Advise clients on security measures and recommend lock upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and keys issued.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in locksmith technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Locksmith or similar role in the locksmithing industry.
- Strong knowledge of lock systems, keys, and safes.
- Technical skills in repairing and installing locks and security systems.
- Certification in locksmithing or related field is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
