Job Brief
The Lobby Attendant plays a vital role in enhancing the overall experience of patrons attending entertainment events. Responsibilities
- Collect admission tickets and passes from patrons as they enter the venue.
- Assist guests in locating their seats and provide directions within the venue.
- Respond promptly to patron inquiries and ensure all guests have a positive experience.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness in the lobby area to create a welcoming environment.
- Help patrons locate essential facilities, including restrooms and telephones.
- Handle lost articles and assist patrons in retrieving their belongings.
- Enforce venue policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with event staff to manage crowd flow and address any issues that arise.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist patrons as needed.
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems and basic computer applications is advantageous.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
