Job Brief
As a Slot Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, adjustment, and repair of various gaming and amusement machines including slot machines, video games, juke boxes, and pinball machines. This role requires a strong background in electronics and mechanics, with expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining gaming equipment to ensure optimal performance. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test new slot machines and gaming equipment.
- Service and repair malfunctioning machines, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and preventive maintenance on all gaming equipment.
- Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and replacements.
- Collaborate with gaming managers to assess equipment performance and recommend upgrades.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with patrons and staff regarding machine issues.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to gaming machines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or gaming technology preferred.
- Proven experience as a slot technician or in a similar role within the gaming industry.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, wiring, and machine mechanics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair gaming equipment efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Familiarity with gaming software and hardware systems.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
