The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and have experience in locksmithing or a related field, ensuring customer satisfaction with high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and open various types of locks, including residential, commercial, and automotive locks.
  • Create and duplicate keys using key cutting machines and manual techniques.
  • Change locks and safe combinations for enhanced security.
  • Install, repair, and maintain safes, ensuring functionality and security.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and inventory of locks and keys.
  • Stay updated on the latest locking technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Key Maker or Locksmith.
  • In-depth knowledge of lock mechanisms and key cutting processes.
  • Certification or licensure in locksmithing is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
