Job Brief
The Kettle Fry Cook Operator is responsible for operating and tending to various cooking equipment, including steam cooking vats, deep fry cookers, pressure cookers, kettles, and boilers for food preparation. Responsibilities
- Operate steam cooking vats, deep fry cookers, pressure cookers, kettles, and boilers to prepare food products according to established recipes.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal food quality while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of cooking equipment to ensure efficiency and compliance with health regulations.
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately to create consistent food products.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely service delivery.
- Record production data and maintain inventory of food supplies and ingredients.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food items.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within a food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain various cooking equipment, including kettles and fryers.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
