Job Brief

As an Innkeeper, you will oversee all operations of a lodging establishment, ensuring excellent guest experiences while managing day-to-day activities such as reservations, staffing, and facility management. You will play a crucial role in maintaining property standards, implementing marketing strategies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the inn, including front desk activities, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes to ensure smooth transactions and high satisfaction rates.
  • Coordinate and supervise staff activities, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract guests and increase occupancy rates.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, pricing strategies, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and emergency protocols.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any complaints in a professional manner.
  • Maintain property appearance and functionality through regular inspections and maintenance coordination.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Innkeeper or in a similar hospitality management role.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, customer service, and financial management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and basic computer skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
