Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for covering roofs of various structures using materials such as shingles, slate, asphalt, and aluminum. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using shingles, slate, asphalt, and aluminum materials.
- Apply waterproofing and insulating materials to roofs, sidings, and walls.
- Conduct inspections to identify roofing issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at heights.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform roofing tasks.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the job site.
- Maintain inventory of roofing materials and report shortages to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Industrial Roofer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of various roofing materials and installation techniques.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations related to roofing.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform labor-intensive tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
