Job Brief
As a Housetrailer Servicer, you will be responsible for the installation, relocation, and maintenance of mobile homes and prefabricated buildings. This role requires hands-on experience with mobile home systems, including plumbing, electrical, and structural components. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience in the mobile home industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Move and install mobile homes and prefabricated buildings according to local regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of mobile homes to assess structural integrity and identify necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems in mobile homes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and zoning regulations during installations and relocations.
- Utilize specialized equipment and tools for moving and installing mobile homes safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used for each project.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mobile home technology and installation practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in construction or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in mobile home servicing, installation, or construction.
- Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in mobile homes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Certification in mobile home installation or related fields is advantageous.
