Job Brief
As a Housekeeping Staff member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in private households or commercial establishments such as hotels and hospitals. You will be responsible for performing a variety of light cleaning duties including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are upheld. Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Make beds and change linens to maintain freshness and comfort for guests.
- Replenish towels, toiletries, and other supplies as needed to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Vacuum carpets and clean hard floor surfaces to remove dirt and debris.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to keep them looking their best.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring linens and garments are cleaned and stored properly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies, and safety protocols.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
