- Transport baggage to and from guest rooms, hotel lobbies, and storage areas using carts or dolleys.
- Maintain an organized baggage storage area, ensuring all luggage is handled securely and efficiently.
- Provide information and assistance to guests regarding hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Monitor and report any lost or damaged luggage to the appropriate hotel staff.
- Collaborate with front desk and housekeeping teams to meet guest needs and enhance overall service quality.
- Adhere to safety and security protocols while handling guest property and hotel equipment.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the hotel entrance and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Strong physical stamina to lift and transport heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of safety and security protocols related to baggage handling.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for transporting luggage between locations.
