Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification as a Chaplain or eligibility for certification from a recognized organization (e.g., APC, NACC).
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, providing spiritual care.
  • Strong understanding of diverse religious traditions and practices.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with individuals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong ethical and moral compass, with the ability to navigate complex spiritual issues.
  • Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping procedures for spiritual care.
