Responsibilities
- Perform in-flight duties to support successful mission completion, including combat operations and search and rescue.
- Operate and maintain aircraft communication and detection equipment, establishing satellite linkages and countering enemy communications.
- Conduct thorough preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of aircraft systems and equipment.
- Manage aircraft weapons and defensive systems to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Oversee and execute in-flight refueling operations and maintain associated systems.
- Implement and execute aircraft safety and emergency procedures effectively.
- Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and special equipment.
- Conduct cargo and personnel drops in accordance with mission requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Helicopter Crew Chief or in a similar aviation role.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance, and operational procedures.
- Valid pilot or crew chief certification, along with relevant military or aviation qualifications.
- Strong technical skills in operating communication and detection systems.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency response procedures in aviation.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and make critical decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with flight crews and ground personnel.
