Responsibilities
- Monitor live surveillance feeds to detect suspicious activities and potential threats to gambling operations.
- Investigate and report incidents involving theft, cheating, or any irregular behavior by patrons or employees.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement security protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of gaming equipment and cash handling processes.
- Assist in training staff on compliance and security measures pertaining to gambling operations.
- Maintain accurate records of surveillance observations and incident reports.
- Respond promptly to security alerts and coordinate with law enforcement as necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in criminal justice or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in surveillance, security, or loss prevention, ideally within the gambling industry.
- Strong understanding of gaming regulations and compliance issues.
- Proficiency in surveillance technology and equipment, including CCTV systems.
- Excellent observational and analytical skills to assess situations effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting and liaising with stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
