Job Brief
As a Gambling Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of staff within assigned gambling areas, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and adherence to gaming regulations. This role requires strong supervisory skills, excellent communication, and a thorough understanding of various casino games and operations. Responsibilities
- Directly supervise gaming staff and ensure compliance with gaming regulations and policies.
- Monitor gaming operations, including table games and slot machines, to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Circulate among gaming tables to observe operations and address any issues that arise during shifts.
- Verify and pay out jackpots, ensuring accuracy and adherence to casino protocols.
- Reset slot machines after payouts and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Recommend the removal of malfunctioning slot machines for repair or maintenance.
- Plan and organize engaging activities and services for guests in the casino and hotel environment.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or gaming management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the gaming industry.
- In-depth knowledge of casino games, operations, and gaming regulations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage staff and interact with guests.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in responsible gaming practices preferred.
- Familiarity with gaming software and technology is advantageous.
