Job Brief
As a Furnace Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating systems, including oil burners, hot-air furnaces, and heating stoves. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair heating systems including furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps.

- Respond to service calls for repairs and troubleshooting of heating and cooling equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during installations.
- Collaborate with other HVAC professionals to complete complex projects effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about system operations and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of service work performed and parts used.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Furnace Fitter or in a similar HVAC role.
- In-depth knowledge of heating systems, including oil and gas burners.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
