Job Brief

As a Freight Elevator Erector, you will play a vital role in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of electric or hydraulic freight elevators, escalators, and dumbwaiters. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with construction teams to integrate elevators into building designs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all installations and repairs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members when necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in elevator installation or maintenance preferred.
  • Proven experience as a freight elevator erector or similar role in the elevator industry.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
  • Valid elevator technician certification or license is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
