Job Brief
As a Freight Elevator Erector, you will play a vital role in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of electric or hydraulic freight elevators, escalators, and dumbwaiters. Responsibilities

- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate elevators into building designs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all installations and repairs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members when necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in elevator installation or maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience as a freight elevator erector or similar role in the elevator industry.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
- Valid elevator technician certification or license is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
