Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Flower Arranger with a passion for floral design and creativity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, cutting, and arranging live, dried, or artificial flowers and foliage to create stunning floral displays for various occasions. A strong understanding of color theory, design principles, and customer service is essential, along with experience in a floral shop or similar environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and create unique floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
- Cut and prepare flowers and foliage, ensuring optimal freshness and longevity.
- Select appropriate floral materials based on client preferences and seasonal availability.
- Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service, offering guidance and recommendations to clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and display areas.
- Stay updated on floral design trends and techniques to enhance skills and offerings.
- Participate in promotional events and marketing efforts to increase sales and visibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Flower Arranger or in a similar floral design role.
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and floral care techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Experience with floral design software and tools is a plus.
- Certification in floral design is advantageous but not required.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy floral arrangements and supplies.
