Job Brief
The Flight Engineer Manager oversees and coordinates the activities of flight crew members to ensure safe and efficient aviation operations. Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the activities of flight engineers and crew members to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate pre-flight and post-flight briefings, ensuring all team members are informed of flight plans and procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for flight crew personnel.
- Monitor flight operations and troubleshoot technical issues during flights, collaborating with maintenance teams as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices in all flight operations.
- Collaborate with airline management to develop operational policies and procedures that enhance aviation safety and efficiency.
- Review and analyze flight data to identify areas for improvement in operational performance.
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the flight crew team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in flight operations or aviation management.
- Valid Flight Engineer certification and relevant licenses.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and flight operations protocols.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Proficient in flight management software and aviation communication tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills to assess flight data and operational performance metrics.
