Job Brief
As a Flight Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various aviation missions, including combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue operations. This position requires extensive experience in operating aircraft systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of flight operations. Responsibilities
- Perform in-flight duties to support combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions.
- Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment, including satellite linkages and jamming systems.
- Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Operate and maintain aircraft weapons and defensive systems to ensure mission success.
- Manage in-flight refueling operations to support extended mission capabilities.
- Execute aircraft safety and emergency procedures to maintain crew and passenger safety.
- Compute and verify passenger, cargo, fuel, and emergency equipment weight and balance data.
- Conduct cargo and personnel drops as required during missions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Flight Engineer or in a similar aviation role.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, operations, and maintenance procedures.
- Certification as a Flight Engineer or relevant aviation qualifications.
- Ability to operate complex aircraft communication and detection systems.
- Experience with in-flight refueling operations and related equipment.
- Familiarity with safety and emergency protocols in aviation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
