Job Brief
As a Flight Engineer, Helicopter, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of various missions including combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue operations. Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment to facilitate mission objectives
- Establish satellite linkages and jam enemy communications capabilities
- Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment
- Operate and maintain aircraft weapons and defensive systems
- Manage and execute in-flight refueling operations
- Implement aircraft safety and emergency procedures effectively
- Compute and verify passenger, cargo, fuel, and emergency equipment weight and balance data
- Conduct cargo and personnel drops with precision and adherence to safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Flight Engineer or in a similar aviation role
- In-depth knowledge of helicopter systems, maintenance, and operations
- Valid pilot or flight engineer license, as required by aviation regulations
- Strong technical skills in aircraft communications and detection systems
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure
- Experience with in-flight refueling systems and procedures
- Familiarity with aircraft safety regulations and emergency response protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively
