Job Brief
As a Flexographic Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of printing machines, including flexographic and other printing presses. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexographic and other printing machines, ensuring correct registration and color accuracy.
- Prepare printing plates and manage ink viscosity and flow for optimal print quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment to minimize downtime.
- Monitor production runs, adjusting machine settings as needed to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure print specifications are met.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or quality issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while operating machinery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing technology is a plus.
- Proven experience as a flexographic press operator or in a similar role within the printing industry.
- Strong understanding of print production processes and machinery operation.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot printing equipment.
- Familiarity with color management and print quality control measures.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
