Job Brief

The Fish Hatchery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of fish hatchery activities, including the breeding, rearing, and health management of aquatic species. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries Science, Biology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fish hatchery management or aquaculture.
  • Strong knowledge of aquatic species biology, breeding techniques, and water quality management.
  • Proficient in data analysis and record-keeping software for hatchery operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications in fish health management, biosecurity, or related areas are a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship in aquaculture practices.
