Job Brief

Field Artillery Basic personnel are responsible for targeting, firing, and maintaining advanced weaponry used to neutralize enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels. This role requires proficiency in operating various artillery systems, including guns, cannons, howitzers, and missile systems. Successful candidates will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. Prior experience in military operations or related fields is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain field artillery systems, including guns, howitzers, and missile launchers.
  • Conduct targeting operations to accurately engage enemy positions and assets.
  • Perform preventive and routine maintenance on artillery equipment and related systems.
  • Test, inspect, and store ammunition, missiles, and torpedoes in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Establish and maintain secure radio and wire communications for operational coordination.
  • Utilize weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute ground combat operations effectively.
  • Adhere to military regulations and safety standards during all operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; military training in artillery operations preferred.
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining artillery systems and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of military tactics and ground combat operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for operational coordination.
  • Ability to pass physical fitness and security clearances as required.
  • Experience with safety protocols and ammunition handling.
  • Technical certification in artillery systems or related fields is a plus.
