Job Brief
As a Ferris Wheel Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient experience for all guests at amusement parks or recreational facilities. Responsibilities
- Operate and manage the Ferris wheel, ensuring safety and comfort for all riders.
- Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance on the Ferris wheel equipment.
- Assist guests with boarding and disembarking, providing clear instructions and support.
- Monitor ride operations for compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ride area and surrounding facilities.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with other amusement staff to enhance overall guest experience.
- Document and report any incidents or maintenance needs to management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in amusement operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and operational procedures for amusement rides.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic mechanical skills for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of ride equipment.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be physically able to assist guests and perform operational duties as required.
