Job Brief

As a Dental Mold Maker, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing full or partial dentures and dental appliances. Responsibilities

  • Construct and repair full and partial dentures, dental crowns, and bridges according to specifications.
  • Utilize dental molds and impressions to create accurate replicas for prosthetic appliances.
  • Collaborate with dentists and dental technicians to ensure the quality and functionality of dental appliances.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and materials to enhance production techniques.
  • Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Document all work processes and maintain accurate records of materials used and products created.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in dental mold making.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in dental technology is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Dental Mold Maker or in a similar role within a dental laboratory.
  • Strong understanding of dental anatomy, materials, and fabrication techniques.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and specifications accurately.
  • Proficiency in using dental laboratory equipment and tools.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
